Why your own orders cannot trade with each other

Self Trade Prevention (STP) stops matching within the same account or linked main-account group.

TRAIEX does not allow an order to trade with another order from the same account. The restriction also covers the main account and its sub-accounts, and two sub-accounts under that main account. Using another sub-account does not remove this restriction.

1

Identify both sides

If an opposing order does not execute as expected, check whether the resting order belongs to your account or a linked sub-account. Include orders submitted manually, through an API or by a bot.

2

Read the outcome before retrying

Compare order IDs, statuses, remaining quantities and any executions. A crossed price alone does not prove that a trade took place. Use the actual rejection or cancellation message to understand the outcome.

3

Review the conflicting order

If an old quote is no longer needed, review and cancel that specific order before submitting a replacement. Coordinate strategies across linked accounts so they do not repeatedly submit opposing orders against each other.

Before continuing

STP is not an internal-transfer method. To move funds, use the account’s transfer function. Do not repeatedly resubmit an unchanged order without checking which order it would match.

What to send support

Send both order IDs, market, time, main/sub-account relationship and the exact status or error. Do not send API secrets or login codes.
